The San Antonio Book Festival is a lively, free event that celebrates literature by bringing together nearly 100 notable authors from local, regional, and national backgrounds. Attracting 15,000 to 20,000 visitors, the festival offers author talks, panels, signings, and family activities, promoting both new and established writers. Held at the Central Library and UTSA Southwest Campus in downtown San Antonio, the 2024 lineup features renowned authors such as Hanif Abdurraqib, Lauren Groff, Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Becky Albertalli, and more.
